brooke ate some cereal first a few weeks ago. then she tired applesauce mixed in the cereal. last week while we were at grandma's she tried some mashed bannans and seemed to start swallowing her food better at that point! today was her first time to try sweet potatoes! she seems to be getting better at eating and liking her new foods!
these are some pics of brooke eating her spoon. i usually give her a spoon to play with while she eats to keep her from trying to take the spoon i'm feeding her with.

oh, she did have a few bites of my mashed potatoes at lunch yesterday! and she ate them up!! :) i'm pretty sure micah probably didn't have real mashed potatoes that early on in starting baby food!
